- The songs mocks The Smashing Pumpkins saying "I don't know what they mean. I couldn't give a fuck." In 1994 Pavement were dropped from a Lollapalooza tour after The Smashing Pumpkins threatened to pull out if Pavement were on the bill. It's evident that Stephen Malkmus deliberately changed the lyrics to reference the Pumpkins as an early demo version from 1993 doesn't mention the band at all.
- Billy Corgan denies trying to get them kicked off the bill and claims that Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds were told that he tried to kick them off as well.
- The song also takes aim at The Stone Temple Pilots with Malkmus exclaiming "The Stone Temple Pilots... they don't deserve nothing more than me."
- Included in the greatest hits release Quarantine the Past: The Best of Pavement (2010).
- Released as the third single from Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain on February 14th 1994.
- Recorded in New York.
