• Set in 19th century California the song tells the story of famous Mexican bandit and womaniser Tiburcio Vasquez. Vasquez was chased and left for dead by authorities in the arid Californian wastelands. His actions bore a legend so powerful that the very land he walked on now carries the name, Vasquez Rocks.

A man who, driven by the affections of women, lived dangerously and unapologetically and was ultimately executed at the age of 39.
