- Charted higher than any other Ladytron release in the UK.
- Destroying everything you touch is a description of using your physical body to destroy things through force. It is a very high octane, kinetic type of behaviour that translates into the pulsing rhythms of the song. Hurtful things have to be felt but, according to the track, not if you destory them "everything you touch, you don't feel."
It's an aggressive and uncompromising attitude that wreaks havoc upon everything in its path. It's about feeling untouchable, as if you can't be harmed, but also acknowledges that if you destroy everything you touch you will also inevitably destroy yourself "Destroy everything you touch today. Please destroy me this way."
