Grace Slick, of Jefferson Airplane, points a shotgun at police and is arrested. She later pleads guilty and is sentenced to 200 days community service.

The US Supreme Court rules that parody qualifies as fair use. The judgment means that parodies of a work can be created without seeking permission from the rights holder.
