Details

-
Warren Ellis played with the band from 1992-1993. He would go on to have a successful career scoring films.
- 'Blackeyed Susans' is a slang term for a battered housewife. The members refer to themselves as 'Susans' possibly because the music industry can be a hard master. The band never received major commercial success and had to tour small venues relentlessly though they did open for Johnny Cash and Leonard Cohen.
- Some of the band members also played in Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.
- The band won several awards in their native Australia including Best Male Vocalist at the 1991 West Australian Music Industry Awards.
