Details
- 'Dreams Tonite' is about a woman who has ended a relationship but still thinks of her partner in her dreams.
There are several references to transportation in the song such as a "live your life on a merry go round" and "counting motorbikes on the turnpike". This likely refers to the direction of travel in the relationship, like how things start at one point and end at another. - "I think even thought the songs are all slightly different in their
narrative. There's just this underlying theme of escapism and
separation: it takes you through all the stages of a break-up." (Molly Rankin talking to NME)
