• Inspired by the winged horse Pegasus from Greek mythology. Hoop uses a dangerous, thrilling ride on a wild animal as a metaphor for her romantic relationships. In the song, Hoop is the animal while her partner is the rider. In a reversal of traditional gender roles, Hoop portrays the ride as dangerous for the male.
